Delete your data
You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data we hold about you at any time. Here is exactly how, and what happens.
Disconnect a social account
When you disconnect a connected platform (Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube) from Settings → Connections, we delete the stored access credentials for that account and erase the platform data we synced from it — channel statistics, videos, insights, and related records. This happens automatically and typically completes within minutes; for connected accounts it is always completed within 7 days, in line with each platform's developer requirements.
Delete your whole account
To delete your ViewStage account and all associated data:
- Disconnect any connected social accounts (above), or skip straight to the request below — account deletion removes them too.
- Email privacy@viewstage.io from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account", or contact us through the in-app help.
- We verify the request comes from you, then delete your account and personal data across our systems. We will confirm by email when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your profile, login, and account settings.
- The OAuth credentials and synced platform data for every connected Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube account.
- Your campaign applications, submissions, messages, and related activity.
What we may keep
We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires it or where we have an overriding legitimate need — for example transaction and tax records for completed payments, and records we must keep to prevent fraud or resolve disputes. We keep only what is necessary, for only as long as necessary, and it is not used for any other purpose.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of it. See our Privacy Policy for the full details, or email privacy@viewstage.io to exercise any of these rights.
